The Good- The Bad & the Ugly............

What a roller coaster of a day! Lonnie told me this morning that if I didn't get my check today-then I was to stop working. He said I don't work for free! We did get our checks! I am glad. It was still crazy in the baby building! I ended up working in the baby-baby room for 2 hours because no one else did! It wasn't to bad but my regular room was not so lucky! There were lots of tears and parents making demands that really isn't right. Then at nap time-there was a big confrontations with all of us. At first I just tried to stay out of it and do my job but they were "picking" on one of the young girls and that just wasn't right. I understood the reason but the approach was just wrong. Then they asked me what I thought and I told them. After everyone said what the needed the tension was lifted with all of us. The babies still cried but it seemed we resolved our "issues". Thank goodness.

After work I cashed my check and picked up my stuff I wanted for my 6th graders. That was fun! Then off to the softball field to get Jordan. This week is try-outs. Then home for a bit and then to the Middle School to pick up the boy-he is in math tutoring. He is struggling a bit! Then we headed off to Bible Study! Phew!!! what a great study tonight! We talked about S.E.L.F(skills, experience,likes and foundation) and how it relates to God and what he wants for us! Good Stuff & they were on it!!! Our prayer time sometimes gets out of hand a bit so we were short on time and "prayer" has been on my heart lately so tonight I told them to think of one word and that would be our prayer for the week. It was kind of neat to hear what they come up with. I don't want to discourage them from prayer/praying but we can't keep going over our time. So, if you have any cute/fun ways we could pray I am listening.

After that I got to escape and get my nails done! It was needed and it let me just sit and relax for a good 1.5 hours. :)

I am going on a trip-do-da-do-da! I am so excited-do-da-do-da! Just me and Lonnie! No kids! No work! Just us! We are going to

Hawaii! Our good friend is retiring and would like for us to come and since they will be moving to Australia it may be a while before we see them. so, we are going! I can't wait! It is a much needed vacation and a time for Lonnie & I to just be us for a little while! :)
