Lost

I have been walking most mornings with a friend. We walk for 30 min. We both need to lose weight and since we don't like to exercise or at least I don't-we walk together. lol Anywho, she couldn't walk today-not feeling well. Normally I to would bail-hate to walk alone. Anywho, I decided to go it alone. So I grabbed my ipod and off I went. While walking our normal route something caught my eye-a lone Barbie boot. There it was just lying in the rode all alone-lost! It made me think about it just being there out in the cold/heat, the rain,the wind and being run over. Then I thought about the one that is probably safe with the other shoes-not knowing that their other half is missing-lost. Wondering what will become of the pair. Knowing that they are both lost-one in comfort and the other not so much. It made me think about people who are lost. They look "normal" on the outside-they live in comfort but are lost. How sad I think but then this other thought came to me-are we truly lost? God wants us to be his and when we are with him so we no longer will be lost but found.
