No regrets

I had to think about how I wanted to write this post.

I have lived my life with No regrets-it is way to short for them. We all make choices-some good and well some not so.
Lonnie & I got married in the church but that was it for us growing our faith. We both had "issues" with religion and well we were happy with what we were doing or should I say not doing. However, now looking back I see that God really was in control(much to my dismay) and leading us. So, it has been a chain reaction of sorts. And truth be told it is a long story so not to bore anyone or what not I will keep it short-sort of. lol
Chelsea got baptized first and then me. I let the kids decide for themselves. Last year the Boy did it while going through Confirmation at our church with Chelsea. I so wanted Jordan to do it & her being her she refused. Said she wasn't going to do it to make me happy but would when she was ready. As much as it broke my heart how could I argue that since I myself didn't do it until I was in my 30's. Jordan has been active at our church and youth and even went on a walk. So, I put it out of my mind & gave it to God. Well yesterday was Youth Sunday at our Church. I love it-they do the whole thing. It is fun and man does God show up!
Lonnie & I were in for a surprise-Jordan on her own spoke with Tina and Joy (Youth leaders) and Steven(Pastor) and she was ready to take this step in her faith. Whoooo hooooo! God is good! I can't tell you how proud I am of her! She has always been her own person. We have had issues and don't see eye to eye on a lot of things. I do LOVE her and she is my baby but sometimes she makes it hard to love. She is growing into such a cool young woman. So, as I am learning it may not be in my time but God's and that is a GREAT thing!
Here are some pictures of it! Chelsea was the only one in our family who knew before hand-they didn't tell the Boy until the day of. lol And this post is about Jordan but I have to say it was awesome seeing how emotional Chelsea was-you could see & feel the love she has for her sister and to this Mom that is what it is truly about! God is good!

how awesome! I really always look forward to your post or status updates on facebook :) I admire your faith, and hope to ONE day be at that level. I really wish I could find a church here, and know I need to start trying some out. I really wished you lived closer, because I think you're family is absolutely amazing! oh, btw I love how you call your son 'the boy'. my brother does the same for his son ;)
