Looking for the joy

It has been one heck of a day! Started off with me getting to sleep in-got the kids up for school but then I got to go back to bed. It was much needed-I have been having a little trouble sleeping nothing bad something that I go through rather often. Let Big Lonnie take himself to work and then come & get me at lunch time so I could go to Grace & Grub. Local churches fix lunch for the high school & the kids get to eat free! Our church always serves Taco Salad. YUM! And I get to serve. Love doing it!

So, when I got up I checked my mail and found out that a friend lost a baby. My heart just breaks for her & her family. This isn't the first time! As a matter of fact it is right around the time that her baby should have been born. Its hard not to ask God why?! So, just dealing with that. Not easy because I know how raw she still is-we went through a "Grief Share Group" at our church and we have become a little family. So please keep her in your prayers.

I went to look up Bible verses on the computer & this is what spoke to me

"I leave you peace; my peace I give you. I do not give it to you as the world does. So don't let your hearts be troubled or afraid." ~John 14:27 (New Century Version)

Now you maybe wondering about the joy of this post-it came to when I was driving to pick up Big Lonnie. I looked at the road in front of me(which is good when one is driving :) and saw the bright blue sky & clouds and the sun shining. In the middle of not so good thing there is beauty for all but God has and will to continue to show us his love & glory for ALL of his people. And guess what it doesn't get any better than that!
