Happy Homemaker Monday

This is my first time participating!

On my bedside table: "Starting your Day Right/Ending your Day Right" devotional by Joyce Meyer, "Cultivating Fruitfulness-Five Weeks of Prayer & Practice for Congregations" by Robert Schnase,"The Power of a Praying Wife" by Storimie Omartian and 2 Bibles: "The Inspirational Study Bible" by Max Lucado and "The Everyday Life Bible" by Joyce Myer

On my TV: Dr. Phil

On the menu for tonight: Chicken Strips, corn and fries

On my To Do List: Laundry, cleaning the house, getting ready for my trip

New Recipe I tried last week: Orange Chicken in the crock-pot

In the craft basket: Nothing. :( I want to learn how to crochet but I am a visual learner and seeing it online not very helpful.

Looking forward to: My trip with Lonnie. Five days in Hawaii!

Homemaking Tip for this week: Do a little every day & put stuff back.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other): It is from my friend Conny- I just think it was funny! I don't know how to make it where you just click on one word or a name to get it to the link. Sorry!

Favorite photo from last week:

Our dogs Bailey & Bandit!
Lesson learned the past few days: Listen for God.

On my Prayer List: My husband and my girls-they are skiing.

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:

"Patience is better than strength. Controlling your temper is better than capturing a city." ~Proverbs 16:32

OH Hawaii! I've always wanted to go there. Have a great time. Prov. 16:32 is one of my favorite verses. Controlling my temper is difficult for me at times.

I was considering joining in on the Monday thing too - but maybe NEXT Monday. Today I'm too tired to be too creative!
