day 30 - movies you can watch again and again.

Whooooo hooooooo I made it to the end of this! :) I am actually writing it the night before. I am leaving tomorrow for a PWOC Retreat and I am not sure I will have time to get to this.

Anywho this is the easy question & it makes me laugh because I was just talking about it today! LOL

LOVE LOVE LOVE this movie & the Book!! Every time I watch it-I see something "new". And trust me I have watched it a lot. My kids for Christmas last year bought it for me. :)

day 29 - favorite tv shows and why you like them

Oh my what a question! I almost hate to admit it-nahhhhhh I love TV. I grew up with it always on & truth be told it is still pretty much that way. It is background noise

I love reality shows & sitcoms & dramas and well just about everything. I don't always sit and watch-it is on DVR and I usually am doing something else while its on.

As for why I like them-it is just stuff I don't have to think about for a while. It is all made up and it hurts no one & gives me a chance to just not think. Does that make sense? Well it does to me.

day 27- my day job verses my passion

Hmmmm another hard one. Well my day job & my passion are one in the same.
I have always wanted to be a mom and that is what I am doing. I can't imagine doing anything else. I have had part-time jobs here and there but my true calling is raising my children. Ask me this question in about 4 years when all the kids are gone. :)

day 26- list 10 things that you are thankful for

1. God
2. The Bible-I may not understand it but it gives me comfort that God's promises are there for me.
3. My husband Lonnie-he is a GREAT husband & father and I am truly blessed to have him love me.
4. My kids: Chelsea, Jordan & Lonnie aka "The Boy!" They drive me crazy but I LOVE them so.
5. My church family-they are the bestest! They love me flaws & all.
6. Chocolate-when I need a little pick me up it really does help.
7. Green-green grass and if it is soft to-Oh my I am just over the moon.
8. Not to sound selfish but A/C! I live in Texas and it gets hot-crazy hot but I am thankful for it.
9. My puppies-they really are like children only furry but they are pretty darn cool.
10. That I am breathing-life is good. It may not be 100% perfect but if you are breathing you should be thankful-it beats the alternative.

Junk! lol I have 2 checkbook-a ton of receipts-gum-throat drops-half a dozen or so pens-wallet-a calendar-notebook-make-up bag-pictures-and a whole lot of other stuff I just can't think of. lol

Why because it is true! I can do ALL things through Him! Doesn't get any better than that!

day 22- what makes you different from everyone else

Yikes what a hard question to answer.
Well for starters I am me-just me. You either love me or hate but there really isn't any middle ground. I tend to see both sides of an issue so I call my self a fence sitter. I am loyal to those who I love. I get angry quickly then think about it. Working on that. I don't forget things-so I know the good and the not so good. I have "issues" but that is what makes me-ME! There is way more I could say but I will leave it as it is. :)

I started this yesterday but then got caught up in trying to get my 2nd prayer Shawl done. :)

I think one of my sweetest memories come from my wedding-it was stressful and I do mean stressful. But as I stood next to my soon to be husband and felt him shaking I knew he meant business. I could just see the look of love in his eyes and even some tears and I knew I married my best friend.

Truthfully no one! I pretty much like my life.

Hmmmm that is a tough one! I am doing my dream being a stay at home mom but I am rethinking that now. lol No my kids are older so they are more out of the house then in. If you know what I mean.
Plans-well Lonnie is "thinking" of retiring from the Navy. We are "thinking" about staying here so there is that. We have a plan of a plan of a plan. Which means we have no clue. lol

Besides the Bible I have one all time favorite!

When I was in the 4th grade we had the Bookmobile come to our neighborhood during the summer and that is when I began my love of this book! I read it in 4 days! It had over a 1000 pages! I have read the book every summer until I graduated High School-then life got busy! I still love it and the movie!

I have way to many to list! I love LOVE music! I swear I have a soundtrack to my life that plays in my head all the time. lol


When I hear a certain song it can bring back memories some good & well some not so but I still LOVE it!

day 9- something you're proud of in the past few days

I am learning how to knit! And I am almost done with my very first prayer shawl. I have a post already about it in my head but want to wait until it is 100% done. lol
So, I am most proud that I have not quit & the ladies who have taught me have not strangled me-yet! lol

day 8- short term goals for this month and why

March is crazy busy for us. So my goals are to keep everyone well! It is not going well and it is only the 3rd. One kid has strep & another not sure could just be seniorist-LOL. The Big guy leaves this weekend for Confirmation Camp-he is a mentor. Next week is Spring Break & everyone is going skiing but me! Whooo hooooo! And then the following weekend I am attending our PWOC retreat. Throw in school and track practices-Bible studies and meetings and what ever else comes my way.
